At Gorana Healthy Living you are taught the true value of good health and ways to maintain them.
Having worked in the fitness industry for over a decade, Gorana was always in tune with the benefits of healthy living. However, the conception of Gorana Healthy Living was a result of her daughter and her own health journey.
During her pregnancy, Gorana suffered a host of illnesses. She had gestational depression, severe hair loss, skin complications, and immense weight gain. At two years of age, her daughter was also diagnosed with asthma, and an eating disorder. She had to frequently visit the hospital, especially, every fall or winter, until she was able to use an inhaler pump. Unfortunately, her breathing issues kept worsening with the cold, despite the pump, resulting in her missing out on crucial childhood outdoor experiences.
Watching her daughter struggle with asthma reminded Gorana of her own childhood trauma of suffering from the same illness. She was reminded of how her parents had to frequently rush her to the hospital, as well, till they were recommended alternative methods of treatment, which had made her own traumatic experience with asthma a distant memory. So, when her daughter turned seven, Gorana took refuge in Alternative Medicine, once again.
In the pursuit of understanding more about her daughter’s condition, Gorana visited India, in 2018, to study under a Yoga teacher. She also met an Ayurvedic doctor who taught her about the connection between gut health and asthma. With her training, Gorana was able to completely treat her daughter’s asthma, and help her live a normal childhood.
And this is when Gorana Healthy Living journey began.
Now, Gorana is passionate about helping people, especially, women, feel good in their bodies. She believes her knack for keen listening is what helps her truly understand and motivate her clients. With the power of Ayurveda, she has helped several individuals who weren’t happy with the way they looked and felt, achieve their health goals.
At Gorana Healthy Living, Gorana’s clients learn to understand their bodies better. They learn what type of food is good for them, the type of yoga exercises they should follow to improve their digestion and general health. They also learn about how certain herbs can be used to improve their metabolism.
